Lee Hughes,

His experience includes bringing together individuals and agendas in order to maximise efficiency of available resources, while improving quality in delivery. Over this period, Lee has been responsible for several services and has worked closely with Local Authorities and key commissioning structures to develop innovative and dynamic approaches to dealing with the diverse needs of marginalised groups.
As a company director for the addictions training facet of ProSentis, Lee has extensive experience of leading multi-faceted partnerships, working alongside the public and private sector, including organisations such as BMW, developing and delivering bespoke training packages for professionals in the field of addictions, as well as the wider business community.
While working for the Oasis Partnership, Lee reviewed local and national requirements and liaised with commissioners, service users, key stakeholders and the wider community to ensure that the requirements for these services were effectively met. He was also required to develop initiatives, review resources and source funding streams.
Lee has developed services that have been recognised as some of the best performing in the south of England, through effective partnership working with commissioners, clients and the wider treatment system.
Following his presentation as a keynote speaker at the Guildhall in London, Lee was invited to speak at three European conferences on Social Inclusion. Locally he has presented at Reading’s Criminal Justice Society and was asked to guest lecture at Reading University on the nature of addiction.
Lee’s main passion over this period has been the Reintegration Agenda, appreciating the fundamental importance of education, training and employment for long-term, sustainable changes required for disadvantaged groups to bridge the gap from the margins to the mainstream.
Lee brings an innovative and dynamic approach to supporting the needs of these socially disadvantaged groups.
