Business as usual at Cornwall Business Fair
Hosted by Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Outset Cornwall and our sister company GetSet for Growth, today’s Cornwall Business Fair 2014 was another glowing success.
The Fair took place in The Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre marked the centrepiece of Cornwall Business Week. Attendance to the event was free and open to all businesses and anyone interested in a career in commerce in Cornwall.
Cornwall Chamber of Commerce’s Chief Executive Kim Conchie said:
“Cornwall Business Fair 2014 celebrates the dynamic way we do business in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly.”
“Over 2,000 people networked, traded, talked, shared knowledge and collaborated. Business leaders and motivational speakers were also on hand to share their inspirational insights in keynote speeches and workshops.”
Matthew Giles, Programme Director of GetSet for Growth – the innovative business support service, partnering with the Chamber of Commerce to host this year’s event said:
“Cornwall businesses benefit from a strong network of support in the county, including our fully-funded investment readiness service for SMEs.
“GetSet for Growth ran a free, one-to-one, business clinic and were on hand throughout the day to meet ambitious businesses who were looking to grow in 2014 and beyond.”
