The Outset Foundation

The Outset Foundation is an independent UK charity, established to relieve unemployment, poverty and financial hardship.

It achieves this primarily through enabling the continuation and expansion of both our Outset service, as well as our sister service, GetSet for Growth, in deprived areas across the UK.

The Outset Foundation fundraises through large and small corporates, private donors, entrepreneurs and other charities. All financial contributions – whether as general donations to the Foundation, or for specific projects – are eligible to be matched by European funds, allowing partners to double their impact in supporting the creation of thousands of new, sustainable businesses and jobs around the country.

It was officially registered with the UK Charity Commission in June 2014 under registered charity number 1157488 and is overseen by a board of trustees including Tim Jones, Rodney Baker-Bates, Naomi Sadler-Bridge and Kate Willard.
