We strongly believe that collaboration and building partner relationships is vital to our work – our ethos is to work with the existing infrastructure to complement and enhance local services.
Outset has successfully worked with over 250 partners across the UK. These include Jobcentre Plus, HMRC, Fredericks Foundation, The Prince’s Trust, NESTA, Working Links, housing associations, further and higher education institutions, prisons and probation services, community groups, PRIMEs, Chambers of Commerce, banks and charities.
Through these collaborations, we bring added value to local services by ensuring that clients receive business skills training from experienced advisors and gain the essential tools, knowledge and confidence to launch a business and benefit from the many positive aspects of business ownership. Equally, we are flexible enough to fast track those individuals that need less support through a combination of light touch assistance and referrals to suitable partners able to assist.

The Outset team have worked in partnership with North Hertfordshire College (NHC) for the past year. The Outset programme has enhanced the training and support that we have been able to signpost our learners to. The partnership working has engaged and increased opportunities of progression for individuals from the T4E employability programmes who were looking at starting a business. The workshops that have been run at the InTown Training (ITT) centre have been very successful, filling the classrooms and providing a vibrant environment, increasing not only individual awareness of the programmes, but also increasing the footfall into the ITT centre.”
